Davis Bay Beach is one of the most popular tourist spots on the entire Sunshine Coast. From Beach Hideaway, it is about a mile and a half walk along the beach or a five-minute drive. You may want to head to Pier 17, where you'll find Groceries, reading, Internet and great coffee. At The Beach Buoy you can sit out on the patio and enjoy Fish & Chips along with a cold drink. There is a boat launch located just around the corner from us so if you have your own boat be sure to bring it for year round boating fun! Head out on your boat in the morning to drop your crab traps and your sure to enjoy a delicious feast later in the day since some of the best crabbing and fishing on the coast takes place right in front of our Bed and Breakfast.

Hiking the Sunshine Coast:

There are endless hikes to enjoy on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. A premiere attraction on the Sunshine Coast is the "Skookumchuck Narrows". Take the 4km hike and see dramatic rapids in a setting like no other. Another must see is the Caren Range, which is known as the oldest growth forest in Canada. Sunshine Coast Provincial Parks:

Porpoise Bay Beach is about a ten-minute drive from Beach Hideaway. This park is located at the southern end of Sechelt inlet in a forest of Douglas fir, western red cedar, western hemlock, maple and alder. It has lovely walking trails, a picnic area and a sandy beach for your enjoyment. Sergeant Bay Provincial Park is north of Sechelt and has trails, beaches and picnicking areas. The surrounding waters are perfect for canoeing, kayaking, scuba diving and fishing. It also has a boat-launching ramp.

Horseback Riding:
